With every case, we assign two attorneys, one associate and one senior attorney. You can rest assured that you will be able to speak with your attorney when you call. K/S strives to make the experience of retaining an attorney not a strenuous one, but an exceptional one.
Please review our staff bios below, they are the main attorneys at the firm; however, the K/S Team is not limited to whom you see below, and we always credit the support staff, law clerks and paralegals of our office who may not have bios but make the experience of retaining our firm a wonderful experience for our clients. As you will notice, there are many more available areas of law that our firm offers. We are a growing firm, and reknown with civil litigation. Daniel Shamy
Mr.Daniel J. Shamy is the senior and managing partner at the firm. Mr. Shamy graduated with honors at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1998, and received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law School in 2001, and co-founded this firm in May of 2002.
Mr. Shamy administrates the firm. From the time he was 26 years old, Mr. Shamy has served on boards of AMEX and NASDAQ publicly traded companies and privately held PAC backing local political leaders. In addition to this firm, Mr. Shamy invests, participates and maintains equitable interest in a wide array of publicly traded and privately held corporations both in the U.S. and abroad, including a company that services the military troops and their families.
Mr. Shamy primarily concentrates his practice of law in complex litigation cases, including commercial collection and business litigation. Mr. Shamy has further written countless contracts, handled numerous corporate formations and shareholder or member agreements, and negotiated terms of contracts on behalf of both publicly traded and privately held corporations. Mr. Shamy enjoys spending time with his family, participating in sponsored track days with his car at various road course tracks throughout the state, competing in mixed martial arts, and exercising.

Jaime Shamy
Jaime Klein Shamy, Esq. is a partner at the firm. Mrs. Shamy received her B.A. at the University of Maryland in Criminology/Criminal Justice, and minored in Spanish in 1998. Jaime received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law School in 2001, and joined the firm in 2004, and became partner in 2008.
Mrs. Shamy gained experience as an associate for Saraga and Lipshy performing closing and post closing work for transactions in residential and commercial real estate for the Delray Beach law firm. Mrs. Shamy joined K/S in 2004, founded and headed the real estate division for the firm as an agent for Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund (“The Fund”).
Mrs. Shamy writes title as a licensed title agent of The Fund. Jaime concentrates in the preparation, completion and post-closing for the transaction of residential and commercial real estate.
Mrs. Shamy is a mother and wife who is committed to family and appreciates the importance of family and a place for a family to call home. Mrs. Shamy enjoys spending time with her family as well as playing tennis, and kickboxing training.

William C. Cunningham, III
Mr. William C. Cunningham, III, is an associate at the firm. Mr. Cunningham graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Arts degree in political science with a minor in Mass Communications/Advertising in 2005. Mr. Cunningham received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law School in 2008, and has been working for K/S since 2006.
Mr. Cunningham gained years of work experience in real estate and business law, further tailoring his legal education for real estate matters including, eminent domain, land use/planning, and corporate finance, further working with Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund and a legal internship with in house counsel of the The Falcone Group, one of the larger real estate developers in the country.
Mr. Cunningham primary focus at the firm for the last several years has been civil litigation, to include, commercial collection, business litigation, personal injury, as well as transactional work to include real estate transaction.
Mr. Cunningham enjoys playing golf in his free time, and listening to Led Zeppelin.
Bill is licensed to practice law in Florida, Michigan, and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.

Tina El Fadel
Ms. El Fadel is a Junior Partner with KS Attorneys at law and currently heads up our Firm’s business development, business structuring, business funding and commercial civil trial departments. As such, Ms. El Fadel is experienced in most all areas of commercial business development, commercial civil trial and appellate representation and is licensed to practice in the Federal and State Courts of Florida and the State Courts of New Jersey. Ms. El Fadel’s educational accolades range from graduating summa cum laude from the Shepard Board Law School at Nova Southeastern University to serving as the past Notes and Comments Editor for the Nova Law Review, to serving as the Chairperson for Problem Research and Development committee for the law schools moot court program. Upon entering into the practice of law with our Firm, Ms. El Fadel quickly distinguished herself as a respected and tenacious trial advocate for our clients and most recently is noted for overturning a local government ordinance through her thorough and effective constitutional law representation of one of our Firm’s clients.
Accordingly, Ms. El Fadel’s primary focuses of practice are business representation, complex commercial trial, mediation and arbitration, corporate finance and structuring, corporate funding and banking, finance, corporate disputes, employment discrimination, real property litigation and insurance disputes, medical office operations, policies and organization, medical collections and insurance billing disputes, medical PIP claims and litigation, foreclosure defense and pre-bankruptcy planning as asset structuring, family law, divorce and pre and post estate litigation. On her personal time Ms. El Fadel enjoy spending time with her family, reading the latest bestselling novels and participating in community events and hot yoga.
Ms. El Fadel is licensed to practice law in the States of Florida and New Jersey in addition to being a licensed attorney to practice before the Federal Courts of the Middle and Southern District Courts in Florida.

Anastasia Mahone
The firm fondly welcomes Ms. Anastasia Mahone as its newest addition to the Firm’s Civil Litigation department and Family Law Department. Ana, as she prefers to be called by our clients graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology along with a minor studies in Sociology. In 2014, Ms. Mahone received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern Shephard Broad Law School and upon admittance to the Florida Bar joined the firm providing legal service to firm clients demonstrating a resilient and unbridled passion and dedication to the law and the needs of the firm’s clients.
To Ms. Mahone’s accolades and to the benefit of firm clients, Anna has professional employment experience in the fields of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Her prior employment experience affords Ms. Mahone a unique and uncanny ability to identify and empathize with the tribulation of firm clients while understanding and being compassionate knowing the extent of emotional hardship and trauma life or business can lead to that ultimately requires legal advocacy or assistance. Ms. Mahone’s work experience and education offer great insight in meeting client expectations, particularly in handling the sensitive matters associated with family law efficiently, aggressively and decisively. Ms. Mahone’s education, experience, dedication and compassion have her on track to becoming one of South Florida’s go to legal practitioners in the litigation and family law fields.
Ms. Mahone’s social interest are quite dynamic and range from an interest in fine food, wine, the arts, theater to more tranquil activities such as quiet moments spent in contemplation of the prose and style of the latest author to experiencing the solace of a sunny south Florida beach day.

Derek J. Cornelius
Mr. Derek J. Cornelius is an Associate Attorney at the firm of KS Attorneys at Law. Mr. Cornelius graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Arts/Science in Criminal Justice, with a Minor in Legal Studies in 2013. Mr. Cornelius received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law in 2016, and has been working for KS Attorneys at Law since 2015.
Mr. Cornelius gained exponential amounts of experience in real estate closings, title work, and wills/trusts law while working at the Law Offices of Barry A. Diamond, P.A., during summers while visiting home from College. Mr. Cornelius also gained vast amounts of invaluable experience in all forms of the Personal Injury practice, assisting injured Plaintiffs during his tenure at the University of Central Florida, while working for Morgan & Morgan, P.A., one of the largest Personal Injury Firms in the Southeast portion of the United States.
Mr. Cornelius’ primarily concentrates his practice of law in Personal Injury cases, assisting seriously injured Plaintiffs in going up against some of the largest insurance companies in the United States. However, Mr. Cornelius also dedicates time and effort towards complex commercial litigation/business litigation cases as well.
In his spare time, Mr. Cornelius enjoys playing a wide range of sports including Ice Hockey, Softball, Fishing and Surfing. He also is an avid College and Professional Football fan and loves spending weekends watching games on TV or in person yelling from the stands.
